Yes, this can be done by the Investor Exchange App, where you can sell your shares at their proposed current market value.
Can I Invest in the same business opportunity outside the scheme?
Yes, a Microvestor is not bound by the scheme and can buy private shares in the same business as these become available. In addition each business provides free reports to venture capital investors.

Micro Investment Scheme How it Works?
Funds are raised by member “commits”, to a debit of a set amount per month (typically £250.00) for a set number of Months (typically 12). This creates a total fund which can be applied directly toward Business scheme opportunities applied as group shares ownership of businesses within any scheme
